National FutureSchools 2019

Student Well-being & Video Games Masterclass

We’re heading to National FutureSchools!

November 14th, 2018|

We’re excited to announce that in March 2019, we’ll be attending National FutureSchools, a future-forward education expo at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Social Play and Community Manager Ivan Davies will join the Alannah & Madeline Foundation’s Daniel Donahoo and headspace’s Simon Dodd to run a masterclass on student wellbeing and video games. Teachers will explore the current landscape of young people’s lives as they relate to school and video games, and learn how to better connect with students and encourage them to be capable and confident learners.

We’re honoured to be a part of this masterclass alongside two organisations doing incredible work in the lives of young people. We know that how students approach and engage with the online world can impact their lives, so it’s a privilege for us to be a part of this.

This masterclass is happening on 19 March 2019, and all teachers are welcome to attend.
