HOW DO I CONTROL ACCESS TO LOL OUTSIDE OF CLUB HOURS?

There are no controls on the application side of League of Legends that allow access to the game to be restricted. Therefore you’ll need to work with your school’s network administrators for a solution. There are two methods commonly used by schools:

  • Teacher controlled access: Teachers or network administrators can manually enable or disable LoL’s abilty to operate over the school network whenever the club is in session.
  • Timed access: LoL is only able to operate over the school network during specific hours, when the club is expected to be in session.

BYOD computers are a concern for some schools who want to ensure that students are only accessing LoL in school during club sessions. A specific IP address range may be blocked to prevent access to LoL over the school network outside of club hours, which we can provide during your club’s setup process.
